Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince İnceleme (markusclarkus51)

The game is really fun in the beginning and I enjoyed it a lot initially. The graphics are good, the music is nostalgic, and the locations are pretty and it's fun to explore and see how different seasons change each area. Monster synthesis is really fun at first as well, trying to go from G to F to E and so on, but there are a lot of issues that just end up making the game tedious and boring.
My biggest complaint is that there are just way too many filler monsters. The game has around 530 monsters and there are at least 2-3 versions of every monster. Popular monsters like slimes have even more variants and by variant I mean a different color and a different AI generated name. The duplication makes things feel boring and uninspired after a while. Also, a lot of the monsters are just dumb and nobody would ever want them on their team, many feel like random mish-mash of two ideas, something an AI would throw together for a DQM bored adventurer NFT project.
My second biggest issue is the heavy hitter system used for monster scouting. Instead of using resources like pokeballs you just use "scout" and all your monsters attack the target and the stronger they are the higher the chance you have to recruit the enemy. The problem is that the odds are very low until you defeat the major boss of the area, meaning that you either have to run through the level and kill the boss as fast as possible, or deal with the headache of 30% or lower scout chance. Also, the scout rate gets almost cut in half if you already own the monster and try to scout it again. This halving affect continues to stack, which is annoying because you can't go into an area and just scout each monster 3-4 times and be done with it, no, you have to get them once or "maybe" twice then come back after you have synthesized them up so the odds to scout go back up. It makes the whole process way grinder and there is no indication to keep track of how many times you have a specific monster after scouting them the initial time and getting the green check mark.
Bonus complaint, I don't like how un-intuitive the monster synthesis system gets, you pretty much have to google to find good combinations. I just copied what I was told was a good combo because I didn't want to sift through 10 pages of monsters and try out each one. Again, it started out fin, then got super tedious. another symptom of the useless monster bloat of ~530 monsters. Same complaint with all the bloated talents.
