Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero - Hero of Justice Pack Review (Broly)

First off DO NOT buy this as a standalone pack, it is a little overpriced for what it offers on its own. But I’d say with the season pass then it’s worthwhile.
TLDR for below:
-excellent cutscenes
-excellent character interactions and voice acting
-strong characters with mostly unique movesets and some special new moves and mechanics
-overall fun pack and offers pretty much exactly what you’d expect if you’ve seen Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero.

All of the new characters offered here are a lot of fun and offer brand new movesets even with the new Piccolo’s and Gohan’s for the most part. With overall excellent cutscenes, effects, moves, and animations that feel like they’re straight out of the film.
Some highlights:
-Several of the characters could be considered “giant killers” and have significant advantages over most of the base game characters against specifically giants. Beast Gohan in particular is unique in that his “Rush” super attack and his Ultimate super attack (which is also a “Rush” move) both work on all giants in the game, which is something that very few characters can do with even one rush super let alone two of them. In addition he is easily one of the best characters in the game on par with MUI Goku and fusions.
-Giant Orange Piccolo could possibly be the best giant character in the game and he too excels at fighting other giants. His Ultimate is similar to Janemba’s in terms of how the attack initially connects (a close range punch), and has a unique variation specifically against giant characters that is very very strong and not too difficult to land unlike Janemba’s Ult.
-The Gammas are very powerful for Android type characters, and have very cool and unique moves, Gamma 2 especially shines here.
-Cell Max has insane damage output and seems pretty fast for a giant. Though he does have the small additional caveat of being specifically weaker to Gamma 2’s Ultimate over every other character, which happens to have a unique cutscene against him.
-All of the other new Piccolo’s are significantly stronger and/or have better combo game than the base game Piccolo’s. Orange Piccolo is on par with Super Saiyan Blue Goku or similar characters in terms of speed and power, he is incredibly good, and they filled out his moveset nicely despite the form not having many moves in the actual Super Hero movie.
-Base and Super Saiyan Gohan in this pack aren’t really anything special other than a cool rush attack cutscene or two, but the transformation animation from base to super is excellent. Ultimate Gohan on the other hand is VERY good and has a unique super attack that’s sort of similar to Goku’s instant-transmission kamehameha with a teleport, except it shoots a volley instead of a beam, which is very fast and very good to use as a counter to someone throwing out a super. I would say he’s on par with base game Ultimate Gohan if not better, and just like the other two Gohan’s he also has an excellent transformation animation.
Cons:
-No new stages
-No Goten, Trunks, Gotenks, or Pan
-No new costumes for Krillin and Android 18
-No costume choices for Gohan or Piccolo
-Bonus battle content in the pack feels like they’re straight up the bare minimum of additional content outside of the characters and 1 costume for Piccolo.
