Dr. Fetus' Mean Meat Machine Review (mlau)
i'm not a guy big into puyo puyo but this game is just really boring. i even got a friend of mine who is a HUGE puyo puyo fan to play it and even he didn't like it. the ui feels so bland, the gameplay is very slow paced which goes against meat boy's fast gameplay, the saws are too hard to see sometimes, the "evolutions" are pointless visual overhauls for the meat pieces, and i even heard there is no post game content (a+ ranks do not unlock you anything other than achievements). not worth the 10$ so spend it on a game that actually deserves it like oneshot.
P.S. y'know, for being such a revolutionary piece of indie gaming, meat boy isn't a very good franchise. the first game, while far from bad, doesn't really hold up compared to other recent titles in the genre, and the two games released in this decade (one of them being the game i wrote this review for) are very underwhelming. sucks to see such an icon of indie games fail this hard
