Divinity: Original Sin Review (𝕭lackarcher)
"Back Quercus! Our shield has gone mad!"
Easily the most heard line in my entire playthrough, needless to say it gets annoying really quick, especially since he just keeps on walking through traps and hazardous surfaces, which the game has plenty of - more of an understatement really.. And if he finally dies and stays quiet, he still haunts you as ghost! But he doesn't give a damn, that he just died and stands before his corpse, merely his voice has changed and he got a ghostly shader, and more importantly he can't be harmed anymore, so no more bi"""ing about the player attacking him..
I ended up resurrecting him a few times to see if it's any good... Yeah, you receive 3 recipes for skill tomes that you get at some point in your game anyways, so not even anything unique to make this worthwhile..
With his final death in act 4 I really didn't want to resurrect him again and it felt great, but also strange to no longer hear him complaining all the time when he walks through necrofire once more.
The only "Good" things about this dlc, are that it's for free with the DE and maybe a few cute moments, but it's so not worth it at all.
