Dirt 3: Complete Edition Review (DeevFactor)

What we have is a top quality racing game that apparently has an obsession with having capital letters in all except the letter i. I remember writing my original recommendation of the previous listing of DiRT 3 that it's a racing game and it involves racing on off-road tracks around the world. Yes, these things still apply and this listing comes with some much needed improvements that people begged Codemasters to make for so long. I think they got the message when some hooners kept bringing their cars to the offices and kept spinning all over their lawns.
The team at Codemasters decided that something had to be done. The evil GWFL army had been keeping the DLC locked away in a heavily fortified Castle of Doom of Dooooooom, holding them hostage while laughing at the poor customers. "Save the downloadable cars!" cried the minimum wage fast food employee. "I need to unlock the DLC races that prevent me from getting 100% completion."
And so the coding masters sent a small army of rallycross and gymkhana drivers including Top Gear USA host Tanner Foust and shoe company owner Ken Block. Oh, and he also does that whole gymkhana thing. Rally purists hate him for some reason.
As the army descends towards the castle, the chief engineer gives some words of support: "OK, the car's ready to go when you are." With this words said, the Ford Fiestas zoom through the defenses, drifting around corners, spinning donuts to confuse the opposing warriors with huge dust clouds. Ken Block sees the DLC hovering over a jump. He radios to the other drivers: "I got this. It'll be a piece of cake. Mmm... chocolate cake!" He drops the hammer, the tires kicking up dust as his Ford Fiesta RS Rally Car speeds towards the ramp. The car climbs up the ramp and sails over the gap, his hand reaching out to the bag of captured DLC. He grabs the bag and the car makes a perfect 11 out of 10 landing shortly after, immediately pulling the handbrake to perform a perfect spin.
Fireworks instantly set off, and the crowd cheers loudly. Al Michaels stands excitedly, yelling out "Do you believe in miracles? YES!" Soccer commentator Rey Hudson goes ballistic in his small sound-proof booth from a studio in Miami, watching the action on a 14-inch CRT TV, "That jump was like the one in the million shot in Star Wars! Magisterial!" There was a big welcome back parade at the Codemasters offices. Stacks of Monster energy drinks were freely hurled to the spectators, though I think a few people got sent to the hospital for being struck in the head. But it doesn't damper the partying one bit. In his excitement, Christian Stevenson ran up to the gleeful Ken Block and told him this: "That was awesome man! Now upload that footage onto Youtube!" Roll credits.
Oh, hold on a second... I was supposed to review a game, was I? Heheh...
Yes, this is still the same great game as before, with 120% less GFWL live, all DLC included, and Steam intregations/achievements/etc.
