Desvelado Review (TheThunderPhant)
Charming platformer that could easily serve as "baby's first precision platformer". In each room you must turn out all the lights before proceeding to the next. The game introduces a few mechanics that lead to slightly more complex puzzles within rooms, but it never becomes difficult. I only had to stop to think about a room maybe twice. The gameplay is super responsive and fun to control, and a few levels become escape sequences similar to those in Ori and the Blind Forest which provides a nice change of pace. The soundtrack stood out; it's smooth, jazzy, and instrumentally gives those Dracula's castle vibes.
Desvelado took me maybe 60 minutes to 100%, I imagine if you're newer to the genre you could get two hours out of it, but I can't picture it taking people any longer than that. Personally, I had a great time with Desvelado, as it certainly scratched the platformer itch I had. Although, I do wish the Steam achievements weren't bugged.
