Desta: The Memories Between Review (Milk Flavored La Croix)
This game is absolutely amazing! The game play is surprisingly more complex than I had originally anticipated and rewards the player for being creative with their shot angles and teammate placement. The story is heartfelt and the characters are lovingly written and complex themselves as well. The art style is stunning and the music is perfect. I was addicted after the first chapter and normal difficulty is still challenging, even when you get defeated, you don't feel cheated. There are difficulty settings though too. I also greatly appreciated the trigger warnings for things like misgendering someone, the game offers alternate scripts in those instances, and while this doesn't affect me personally, the option for others is awesome and inclusive. I would definitely recommend this game to other Indie game fans and gaming fans alike!
