Demon Hunter: Chronicles from Beyond Review (kyklad)
An old-school hidden object game.
Gameplay is average, puzzles are mostly not difficult. The game is separated into two phases which have several locations. Backtracking is common, luckily the map helps a lot. Some items are misnamed, there are some typos
Graphics are really dated due to the age of the game, it follows the classic style of using photo-based elements.
Sounds are average, the music is a repetitive loop.
Although it could have been interesting, the story is poorly executed with several logical leaps.
Contrary to other hidden object games, some of the achievements are unique to this game. Surprisingly, some are very difficult to get.
There are 4 sets of collectibles and the player has to pay atention because there is no indicator for them as it is usual in modern games.
There is a bonus chapter which is supposed to add to the story of the base game. Unfortunately, the fast traveling function of the map does not work here for some reason.
