Dead by Daylight: Descend Beyond Chapter Review (Dzarmer)

This DLC is DECENT and BEYOND my expectations

All the things that are included in this DLC are weird. We got the new killer that had very negative feedback on the PTB, still has at some degree, he is an addict/alchemist named Blight aka Ping Pong boy.....Cool, we got a Bing Bong and Ping Pong, whatever. In the other corner of the arena we got ourselves a new DBD sex symbol named Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg aka PEWDIEPIE Richter. And suddenly we got no new map that compliments these two, only a graphic update.
The killer is hard, and by hard I mean somewhat clunky to control, doesn't really have an anti-loop ability like say Pyramid or Doctor, insanely map dependant and addon dependant and also very very short. He is without a doubt the shortest killer in DBD by far, which makes him tremendously more difficult to play on maps like Farm or Swamp, your height is not allowing you to see scratch marks through grass but compliments during mind games on certain loops, yet your FOV will screw you over, I do not know how they made such a weird creation, it seems like Shadowborn and Monitor & Abuse are must have on him. He's got great mobility from bouncing around the map like a madman, although turning degree during your rush is very small, so you won't be hitting people constantly if they run around corners and break line of sight a lot, skill requirements is pretty high on this guy. Overall he is fun to play, little tedious sometimes, but fun, I like him.
Felix without a doubt will melt some people's hearts, not only because of his great look, but also because of his perks. One of his perks named Desperate Measures literally counters Thanatophobia, Sloppy Butcher and Dying Light all together. for each injured, hooked or dying survivor you will receive 14% buff to healing and unhooking speed INCLUDING YOURSELF. Yes. I know. Crazy. Another perk called Built to Last will work after you fully spend all of your item's charges, when you do that it restores half of the charges once per game. Can't wait to see it on toxic flashlight clickers. And the other perk is just a generator aura reading perk, no need to use that. duh.
Giving it a thumbs up because it's not terrible, but not great either. I do not want this DLC to drown in mixed reviews. Buy it, it's good.
