Dead by Daylight: Chucky Chapter Review (TateTG8)

I have played enough Dead by Daylight recently to give a review with, what I believe is, the necessary experience. Chucky is not a healthy addition to the game.
His perks are well balanced and have a high potential for synergy with other perks in the game. Examples: using Batteries Included in a end game and M1 builds works wonders and feels like the killer got MFT. Friends to the End will scare new players, yet I have seen them take to hiding as the obsession when the perk is found out. It had high amounts of value for killers and is avoidable at all levels, a well balanced perk. Hex: Two can play is another well balanced perk that is both fun to use and counter-able as survivor, I've only seen it about six or eight times so I cannot speak much to it.
Chucky is the opposite of his perks, he reminds me of old Skull Merchant in the sense that he has too much. Chucky has the ability to both be a "stealth" killer and a "catch up" killer. His power consists of the best parts of the Pig's and the Wraith's powers. Referring to stealth and lunge attacks. By default he is much shorter than every killer to date, and has a stealth mode where you cannot locate him unless he chuckles at the right time (given the map design allows you to hear his chuckles). Nor can you see what direction he is looking in, thanks to the map design and character height. And he can charge up a power that allows him to lunge further, faster than normal. The hit-boxes are like the Nightmare where the game design compensates for his small weapon, but even knowing that, it is very irritating when he is granted a hit that should not of connected. Combine that with his very fast, long range lunge and you get some of the most abysmal chase experiences Dead by Daylight has to offer. Additionally, his footfalls have never once been helpful in locating him in my experiences, never in a loop have I seen enough footfalls to make a decision nor have I seen them when he is approaching my location.
Chucky has too much and is too much of a change from the regular killer in Dead by Daylight to be a good addition to the game. In my 1.3k hour opinion (Playstation plus PC, I had to say it, sorry), he either needs to be one or the other. Pig or Wraith. In 3/8ths of the trials I will play in, people will DC when it is a Chucky and I believe that my experiences are not abnormal.
