Dead by Daylight: All-Kill Chapter Review (Nivolra)

The Trickster in a killer perspective:
Hands down to the art department of DbD, the visuals they introduce exceed themself everytime a new chapter is released. BUT as someone who has been playing mostly killer for nearly 2000 hours now, I highly criticize the gameplay team for bringing in the weakest killer to be in DbD so far.
Mobility is the main core of designing a good killer, a Leatherface may bring lethality but what good does it to him if he can't stop gens from being popped from a wide distance? Speaking from a 115% movement speed killer with the ability to instadown people, how does the Trickster stand up to this?
The idea of 110% movement speed killers consists of a significant grow in power for the sake of a reduced mobility. Spirit does fulfill that description with her phase walk ability. In the case of Nurse the mobility was even reduced more to make up for her tremendous teleporting power. While Huntress may also be in that category, her hatchtets are able to outright injure survivors should they hit. She is still very map dependant, means that maps like Hawkins pretty much weaken her into a 110% walking simulator, for the casual players that is.
Later on the Plague has been introduced, a killer that can be a better huntress with the erasement of said movement speed reduction: Yes that is right. A better version of a power that comes with NO lack in mobility. This is made possible by granting her this position just temporarily.
Imagine a huntress that does not injure people with one axe, yet has to hit seven times for the same effect. The Trickster moves far too slow; He can't land all seven knifes in a row because of the massive loop heights or the windows that negate them entirely. But oh well, why not just come back later and finish them up with the few knifes that still need to connect? That is NOT a thing. Firstly survivors see the progress of how near they are to being injured AND after roughly 8 seconds of being hit, the progression bar goes down fast. That means, you have to hit them seven times consecutively which for the shown reasons is rarely ever possible.
His main event is the first power in the game, that forces you to either use it ASAP or it is gone. What makes it an even greater audacity is the fact, that you can't use knifes after exiting the main event for 10 seconds. This really makes me question, what the gameplay department thought when designing the killer's power. A downgraded huntress, that needs more skill to get the same result and there are STILL nerfs being made. The addons for the most part are garbage. A purple one that used to be good during PTB has been downgraded, since it basically gave a far easier time to down people with the half of his knifes required otherwise. A green one that sets down the required knifes to connect seems to be his best one and still, I want to propose changes, that may help the Trickster to shine more.
1. Make him 115% and set his speed while holding knifes to 110%
That way his chances of hitting people fast enough are increased, while hitting with the bat becomes a viable strategy.
2. The knife progress should stay for one minute, if the Trickster doesn't finish the thing by then the progress bar is reset
Commiting to a chase is punished enough already by genspeeds, add a timer to make the Trickster strategic and more useful for switching targets; Additionally, a snowball becomes possible if executed perfectly.
3. There is no reason to limit a killer for using his ability, remove the temporary chance window for main event and make it a choice like Oni's demon state
These would be changes that can be introduced with one small hotfix and change up the Trickster entirely. He still would suffer from a lack of mobility but he at least would have a chance to shine in chases more. I loved this game for a long time and sadly, for me it stops here. I can't accept what huge mistakes were made the last three months and therefore, I will play something else.
There are people out there however who still want to continue and I sincerely hope that the developers will recieve more awareness for their hardcore base. The ones that stay for longer than a few weeks, the ones who fight even with the disadvantages they have. I do not recommend this chapter, let them see that what they do is wrong.
