Darwinia Review (Neo-Rio)
Classic indie game.
It's a gentle RTS game which is easy and fun to play. You guide a bunch of programs (inspired by TRON I think) to clear out a virus and make life habitable for the little Darwinians. The Darwinians are AI constructs living inside an AI project set up by a guy who looks a little bit like Sir Clive Sinclair.
There's a little bit of challenge as you work through the game, but it's not hard at all as long as you are persistent. You don't lose any progress either so there's little frustration. You might only experience a few setbacks while learning to control the units and should you let the virus outpace your cleanup, but that's all. They could have made it artificially difficult with timed levels or limited respawns but they chose not to. As it stands, it's just a nice relaxing game to play that doesn't outstay it's welcome. It also has some cute touches and a soundtrack that foreshadowed Minecraft's.
