Darkest Dungeon II: The Binding Blade Review (Tarnished)
Extremely expensive, terrible DLC, however the Quest line is kind of fascinating.
Since there isn't any build diversity between Crusader and Duelist, this DLC isn't really worth it.
The game's incredibly repetitive game play and poor balance really speak for themselves in terms of player engagement.
There is just a lot of time gating within the game to keep you playing and the reward for it, is just terribly dull and uninteresting because there isn't any variety in the enjoyment and engagement that any of the hero "paths" offer.
Please rework the hero paths and skills.
No excuse in 2024 that Devs don't have this data being stored away somewhere where they can see the most picked heroes, and paths, and least amount played.
Doesn't surprise me with how slow these devs are anyway, since the games still been 5/10 status for gameplay and player engagement for October 26, 2021 Nearly 3 years, and the game lacks a lot of fun features.
They only made this DLC because it's prints money, since we all wanted our crusader homie back, and sadly yes I am a sucker for the Crusader since he should of been in the game since the start anyway.
