Darkest Dungeon II: The Binding Blade Review (Capt. Jp)
At first i was not too happy when the crusader was put behind a paywall. (still think it's a bad move)
I waited and picked this up in 40% sale, which is a fair price for 2 new characters and a quest to actually get the crusader.
The duelist is right of the bat available and i used this one to get to the crusader, she has a fun kit with stances and going back 'n fourth. animations are cool and puts out very nice dmg, a solid addition imo.
The Crusader is playing hard to get, u have to jump trough hoops (mini quests, and are not always super explained) which can be tedious, if you just want to get it over with.
The Crusader is in itself a legendary status character with multiple tools and good dmg output.
Animations are very nice done, although i liked the sacred scroll animation from dd1 more (but that's subjective)
I also might add without any spoilers, that the Chapter 4 of the crusader is just epic.
