Dark Souls III: The Ringed City Review (hi, i'm diabeto)
DLC is giving a real challenge.
Locations are wide and feel a little bit empty with strange unreachable mobs who attack you instantly they see and they make you suffer badly.
I made it to the first dragon boss but honestly, I didn't want to fight them because everything else felt extremely odd, not a single place can be considered a safe zone where you can check for inventory staff.
As far as I understand bosses are the main gems of this DLC and the lore itself is also interesting, meanwhile, I'm sorry but I'm not willing to grind locations or to look behind the corner because it doesn't feel fun at all.
If you are looking for a challenge - this DLC is meant for you, in the other hand, locations are feeling way more different than from the main game and pretty boring and unreasonably hard so I went with a refund for this one(
I want to fight bosses though.
UPD
I decided to try it for 1 more time and first location still feels really bad but you can run through it and once you win the twin dragons, owww god.
Locations you see next are so damn cool, interesting to explore, hard but rewarding with new cool enemies.
Gabriel is the most balanced boss in terms of difficulty and overall it’s interesting to fight him.
Midir is kinda overrated, as in fact he’s not really hard, once you figure out where to stand to beat him, the main battle is going to be with camera while fighting him.
The dude in the church doesn’t really feel like boss.
Twin Dragons, personally, was the hardest one to fight against, in fact, it took me around 8 hours to beat him.
9/10 because of first location, all the other staff is just iconic
