replaying this was awesome; some of the new areas were annoying to explore but every single boss was just so fucking well designed. demon prince, midir, gael, all really tough fights that you're forced to learn and eventually overcome. the new weapons were also really cool. I will say that i wish that titular city area was more fleshed out. i always wanted to explore those city streets more but it just opened up into another giant swamp. which is like. okay. second one in the dlc btw. sense of linearity i guessss but its all so visually incredible and just damn COOL. i love the dreg heap aswelll. ds2 fanservice is SO FUNNY. I always kinda wished they just had one DLC for dark souls 3 because the two we got feel kiiiinda like lesser pieces of a whole. but idc. it doesnt quite beat old hunters, artorias or even sote for me but its that level of quality. lovely farewell to the series.
