Dark Envoy Review (Neyreyan_Youtube)
I really wanted to play this because Tower of Time is a very good game but this.... this is very janky. You will be strugling to control your party because everything is so snap on. Someone attacks you in melee? well, focus on them, move a little bit? need to reselecting the target. Want to move and use a skill? Well good luck because there are barricades, aoe damage from enemies and many ranged enemies

There are also times where the commands don't respond to your inputs like giving a character the order to use a skill and it doesnt work or pathing issues when trying to move someone out of the way.
When reloading it actually switches back to the difficulty you had when you saved
Graphic and art style seems to be made by different studios and don't take into account how cluttered the combat can become.
There are also problems in seeing the cast range so sometimes a character will simply walk through attacks to cast a spell
The difficulty is all over the place, the first area is very hard to win even on Hard because how fast the enemies lock on your party and start following your weakest member.
And the funny part is that you are supposed to control 4 characters that have different skills and cooldowns in a screen wide arena where you have to beat a reinforcements meter. The hp bars are very misleding as well and with 4 part members and the 5-6 enemies everything becomes a colorful mess.
The dialogue is also more silly modern dialogue with silly jokes made for very simple people wich ruins the immersion.
The AI of companions is the worst since it makes controlling them a gamble
The rest of the game is great...
Buy this game in one year, i am done playing janky games at release. And when i say janky i mean unplayable and not fun, not charming janky
Also, how did all the reviewers who got a key 1 month early did not notice these problems? I am refuding this, i just have no patience for jankyness.
This is not fun janky, this is barely playable jankyness and not fun
