Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty Review (|PeleQ|)
Update 2.0 was like a breath of fresh air for Cyberpunk 2077, introducing many improvements and features, completely changing the game from the buggy mess with potential that it once was, into the game it always deserved to be, and with it came the Phantom Liberty!
Unfortunately, this DLC introduces a certain problem...
A problem every gamer would be happy to have.
This DLC comes with more story content, problem here is that this is all done in such high quality, it makes the rest of the game feel less polished in comparison. You know, certain cutscenes in the original game always looked a little janky, then you play a mission from the DLC and suddenly the bar rises pretty significantly, everything is very polished and perfect, super immersive, then you once again play a mission from the main game and you can't help yourself but notice the difference.
Hey, I still love the original game, always have, even from 1.0 but man - it just shows you how much work they put into Phantom Liberty.
Speaking of - Phantom Liberty is fu****g EPIC!
Aside from the many, many improvements to the main game that came for free with the 2.0 release, Phantom Liberty will add more to the story of the main game. The story is well worth experiencing, the feels are well worth feeling :3
All that is complimented with the BEAUTIFUL music and the absolute badassery that the combat will offer you.
And, man... I'm keeping it spoiler free of course but - the endings that come with Phantom Liberty... Some of the lines as well... Damn...
I loved the experience, I loved what this brought to the table, and the 2.0 update absolutely revived this game for a lot of people.
