Counter-Strike: Condition Zero - Deleted Scenes Review (BlaDiBla33)
I never noticed that CounterStrike had a single player edition until 2023.
I had fun with it, figuring out the endless series of surprise situations the game put you in.
Some notes on the game are:
- Enemy AI is weak, they basically attack when a trap is sprung or stand still.
- Enemies need multiple shots to the head before going down.
So its not really possible to progress without getting shot yourself,
but you can take a good number of hits too before you die.
- You start missions with low ammo and cannot pick up weapons or ammo from dead enemies (!!)
So in the start of every mission you have to be careful to find all ammo that lies around.
Luckily there is a cheat built in to give yourself more (realistic) ammo.
- Because of all the position-triggered traps, you'll have to save game a lot the first time through,
but the game fortunately does not limit that.
So I had quote a but of fun going through the missions in different "words" in 13 hours.
