Company of Heroes 2 Review (Mahuna)
Im going to start this review by saying that this game is a gem that worked on for a long time to bring it to the amazing state it is now.
So lets talk about the story part of them game. Yes it does show soviets as blood hungry monsters that make you sometimes sympathise with the germans but that has been the theme in every game of this period. USA story brings you to the ardennes forrest and its a great bit of fun. I do recommend them both.
Now on the multiplayer. My god the cinematic competitve gameplay is something that will have your mind blown. The screaming amazing voicelines of the infrantry, the roaring of the engines from tanks and light vehicles. I never had a copmetitive style game immerse so hard into its self that i feel like a genuine general during a war.
The community in my almost 1,7k hours has been pretty helpful and kind. Ofcourse there are toxic people but many others over exaggerate the amount of it (Dont worry this is not League of Legend or CSGO). It takes sometime to pick up the games mechanics but nothing too crazy.
Now onto the DLC. Honestly pick up the platinum edition from Instant gaming or where ever if you dont want to spend the full price but i did buy my the legit way to support Relic.
All in all to end it here i will say you will not make a mistake by buying this game, it is one of the best RTS games out there and its great bit of fun with the 3rd instalment on the horizon.
