Coffee Talk: Episode 2 - Hibiscus & Butterfly Review (Anna)
I liked the first game much more. The writing in this episode feels different, as if it was made for a younger audience. The characters in Episode 1 had their own charisma—they weren’t all good or helpful, and when they did offer help, they did it in their own way. But the new characters feel empty and too flawless. They change their minds and apologize too often, and everyone around them seems to coddle them.
It also feels like the developers tried to make the game longer, but instead, the dialogues became dull and tedious. At times, they didn’t even feel like real conversations between characters—more like passages from a self-help book directed at the player rather than the barista.
I earned all the achievements in the first game, but with this one, I barely managed to finish it once.
