Cities: Skylines - Financial Districts Review (PhantomWillie)

This is a tiny DLC, so it shouldn't take long to describe how I feel about it.
I like the stocks included in the pack. I feel like there almost should be more of them though. I'm kind of surprised there isn't one that is linked to the performance of your banks. There should totally be more stock choices. Also they make crypto seem like a good investment, shame on them. Haha.
The upgrade for the Stock Exchange (the main building in this mod) is fair, but tedious. They force you to use the stock exchange, and sell stocks and earn a specific amount of money before you can upgrade it. Thankfully, they don't take away progress if you sell at a loss, even if they did though, because money isn't hard to come by already, you aren't really put into any situation where you must sell your stocks at a loss. This means you can just hold onto them forever, until they are at a value where they're worth selling at.
This addon might synergize well with Natural Disasters, since having to evacuate citizens for a few weeks for a tornado or earthquake, and having your budget tank because of that would be the perfect situation in which you might be forced to sell something at a loss, and the diasater might damage the items relating to the stocks you own, causing their value to sink even further. On the flipside, after a disaster, you could invest in a market that is now at a lower value knowing that things will eventually recover.
Insider trading seems to work well. I made a small forestry industry so that I could buy stocks, then I grew the forestry industry a whole bunch and made bank! (literally, since I got my stock exchange leveled up high enough to be able to build banks) That was a fun little experiment.
I like the tiny statues you get as a reward for completing the first level of the exchange, The game needs more tiny parks like those!
My favorite part of this DLC is the financial offices. I really like the way they upgrade by getting taller instead of becoming entirely new buildings. However, depending on the situation in which they are placed, they upgrade pretty fast, so it's kind of silly that they were ever the small building in the first place. That's just a minor gripe though. I wish more buildings upgraded like this!
Overall this pack is just okay. It's totally not worth the full 8 bones that they're asking for it though, so I can't really recommend it.
