Cities: Skylines - Financial Districts Review (kaspergm)
I think this is the only DLC pack so far that has a directly negative impact on the gaming experience, and for this reason, I have to give it a negative review. The gambling mini-game is tedious and boring, and you have to do it every game to unlock the Stock Exchange upgrades. This heavily encourages you to use one of the many exploits to hit an instant jackpot, which completely ruins the economic aspect of the game (not that there was much challenge there to begin with). The bank buildings address a non-existant problem in the game, which was economic criminality, which makes them completely superfluous. The new zonable economic offices is something I was looking forward to, but they are really ugly. The new plazas are ok, I guess, at least if you don't have tryptophobia. Bottom line is, I actually think the game is better without this expansion activated, and I will probably turn it off when playing in the future.
