Cities: Skylines - Concerts Review (Catratio)
Looking at this DLC in 2023 it's tough to justify at first glance. You only get 4 unique buildings, compared to something like the Heart of Korea pack which gets you around 60 buildings for the same price. What you end up with is a performance stage (upgradable, so actually 3 versions of it), a side area for fans to gather, a broadcast studio, and an old-style night club. There is a (very) small mini-game aspect where you can adjust the security budget, control ticket prices, or apply a couple policies to help your concerts be a success. The better the band's popularity, the more attendees, and thus the more money you can gain.
So while there's not a ton gameplay wise, you're mainly buying this to get the new radio station that comes with 15 songs. I was actually surprised to find out the music here is not awful. I wasn't expecting a lot, but all the songs were enjoyable and sounded like something you would hear on an actual radio. Not one made me want to turn the station off, and some were good enough to listen to outside the game.
I put off buying this for 4 years because it just looked like it had no real meat to it, but I can say on sale for $2.79 I definitely got my money's worth and wish I'd bought it sooner. I mainly bought it because I wanted the music club asset, but the songs were an unexpected and nice bonus. Picture of the club for reference, since no image of it seems to exist anywhere else on the internet: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2912338599
