Capcom Arcade Stadium: Carrier Air Wing Review (Bago)
It's a pity this spiritual successor of UN Squadron is worse than the original. I can see so much the same the between games at a glance but what is missing is why.
There is only one sub weapon option to buy each level instead of many choices that UNS has. Most of the time I don't like the only one available and just skip it. It is mostly annoying that many ground force heavy maps don't allow you to always buy bombs with that only choice.
The enemy bullet projectiles are hard to see and often blend in with the background. Non-seeking Missiles are easy to see for the half a second before they zoom so fast across the screen, they also can't be shot down and must be avoided. Seeking Missiles seem to be the most fair enemy projectile, easy to see and can be shot down. UNS had nice flashing enemy bullet projectiles that turned red and blue that could never blend into the background.
