Capcom Arcade Stadium: Bionic Commando Review (Bagheera Magaro)
Gotta be honest: I LOVE the music in this game. <3
It's a fun game, just so long as you don't expect to get it in 1cc. I mean, it's not impossible to do. There's videos of it. But, I'm pretty sure those people literally played that game for years.
Oh, also, beware! Just because you can rewind doesn't mean the Countdown stage can't become unwinnable and send you back to Stage 4 when the countdown hits 0. Because the rewind feature only goes back so far, and if you get to a point where you can't even die fast enough to get a continue (which resets the Countdown) then yeah, back to Stage 4 for you. I think you keep your score though.
As for how the game is, porting-wise, I guess it seems okay? I'm no expert, but I've watched experts play on real arcade boards and the gameplay seems right. Though the monitor distortion in the Capcom Arcade Stadium is obviously different from the setups I've seen. The music and sound is absolutely correct as far as I can tell, which was honestly the main reason I wanted this game. So yeah, for $2.99 this is a good enough deal, I'd say. I'd pay full price for this game, if I hadn't gotten the bundle because...idk. And since you apparently get some kind of a Capcom Stadium Points bonus for a limited time after you buy a game in the Stadium, I guess maybe this is one case where you should just buy games 1 at a time? Oh well, I hate IRL Time-Limited game stuff anyway. Games shouldn't own their players, ya know? 'specially not in this era.
tl;dr: Game Fun but Hard, Music Old And Crunchy But GREAT, Don't Sweat How You Get It Or Silly P2W Bonuses, Just Get this Game.
Edit: Got a fight stick for the first time in my life. (For more of an arcade feel, not just to play this game.) From my noob perspective, octagon gate is better than square for this game. But that's just me.
