Capcom Arcade Stadium: 1944 - The Loop Master Review (Bagheera Magaro)
Crank up the music....srsly, why the heck is the music in this so quiet if it's an arcade game? Also, I never understood the whole 194X series being made by a company from Japan. Oh well. Not really my favorite shmup, honestly. I'm bad enough at dodging bullets, but making the hitbox effectively bigger by tacking on wingmen as a powerup does not help. Bombs are in short supply too, though making it easy to know which enemies will drop bomb pickups for you makes making tactical decisions a bit more fair. The charge mechanic takes forever too.
Still a fun game though.
Edit: The autofire is very useful here.
EDIT: How did I completely forget to mention that the boss design and art is REALLY good?! Seriously, admire them bosses, they're definitely well designed (art-wise at least. I stink too badly at shmups to know how good they are gameplay-wise) and very well animated.
