Bully: Scholarship Edition Review (★ SPOOPYBOII ★)
No, the comments are not exaggerating... this port of Bully is beyond broken. In my case I was unable to get past the games very first loading screen (yes the one on start up).
As a major Bully fan this was a slap to the face. Getting Bully on Steam is a total gamble on how well it will run on your system - and if you're an unlucky bastard like me you'll be stuck not being able to play the game at all!!
...and I tried *everything*! I tried every documented fix for Bully under the sun, this all includes an array of patches, both official and unofficial, as well as numerous comparability settings as well as launch settings for Bully. Hell, I even tried editing a couple of game files and I still couldn't get the bastard to get past the first loading screen!!
I remained sh!t out of luck.
Honestly your best shot with Bully is to either run it on an emulator or get it on mobile. Luckily for me I still own a PS2 with a copy of Bully but I guess I was naive to believe I could have a fresh Bully experience on PC.
I can't believe Rockstar Games would allow their products to become so God awful (and I'm referring to the actual quality of the game and not its content or user base). This is a new low for Rockstar.
