Bulletstorm VR Review (Azure)

TL:DR - DO NOT BUY ATM
So due to some rather infuriating positive reviews lying about the status of this product, I have decided to rewrite and restructure my review of the game, also I have done this because I really love Bulletstorm and REALLY want this to be made into a good product.
Graphics:
The game's graphics are what the original game looked like, but with the gun models of the Full Clip Edition, do not believe what some reviews say about the game looking like the 2017 remaster as they DO NOT, I even went back and played the Full Clip Edition to make sure I was not crazy. I did not have issues with texture pop in and downright missing textures as some users are reporting from the Quest headsets. There is also no graphics settings what so ever, so you cannot change how the game looks in any way, alongside this there are some segments with extremely poor performance, I ran this game on a Valve Index, using 32GBs of Ram, a Ryzen 5 5600X, and an AMD RX 5800XT, I can play DCS World in VR on High, Boneworks, Bonelab, Half Life Alyx, and many other VR games on max settings without issue. The poor performance could cause nausea or motion sickness, thankfully I do not suffer from this, but whether I get motion sick or not, it is an absolute struggle to play on the segments where the game decides to run poorly.
Sounds:
The game has sound options, but they only change certain things, while not reducing others, for instance the ambiance in sections does not get reduced when turning down all of the sound sliders, including the Master, making it so you will have the game be rather quiet, with bird chirping and some things like doors being kicked down not being reduced at all, sometimes suddenly blasting your ears with noise, it is basically random as to what you're actually turning down, take for instance your first encounter with a boss, before you board the train and get chased by the grind wheel, turning down all the settings makes everything muted, except for the sound of the boss kicking down the train's ramp, which was ear blasting loud compared to everything else.
Gameplay:
The VR mechanics are quite well implemented, aside from issues with guns flipping in your hands, such as the section riding the train... the minigun while firing will spin wildly in circles, making it impossible to hit anything (Yes I tried different hand positions and different stances irl, nothing changed it), reloading a gun feels good, albeit janky at times as with guns like the flail launcher, yanking back the charging handle on the top is kinda funky (making the gun do flips in your hand as you finagle with it to try an get it to register you pulling it back).. but leashing enemies, killing, and everything you loved about the original and Full Clip is here and feels very nice, there is an issue at the moment though where guns feel like they are a laser pointer attached to the very top of your hand, say you are holding your hand like you would the grip of a firearm, the gun's aim point is the top of your hand, and feels very unnatural compared to other VR shooters.
Cut Content:
This game is significantly cut down from the original and full clip edition, and no I am not talking about not including Duke... entire missions are cut and huge swaths of the game are removed, such as the entire mission using the mechatron, chasing after Trishka while she taunts you, the move to the town after your vulture crashes after escaping the cave, etc.
There is also a massive amount of censored dialogue, many bits of profanity are cut like radio edits for vulgar music, where the voice just stops or they garble it to not say the profanity... this is very confusing and irritating to hear during convos between characters, especially when some dialogue is censored, whereas others are not... the game even includes a warning at the beginning about how the game is vulgar, and there is a lot of profanity, and they haven't changed the dialogue at all... its super weird.
All in all, this game is a struggle to play at the moment, and it seems that the devs are intent on fixing it, hopefully, as seen by the dev response to this review. But as it stands stay clear of this until it has had some patches, I really hate to write a negative review for a game I absolutely loved from back in the day, but this just ain't it chief.
