Boneworks Review (Keyboard Eater)

Boneworks is an amazing game, probably one of my current favorite vr games alongside blade and sorcery. The story, although kind of vague, is pretty cool and the missions are pretty fun to play through.
While playing Boneworks, most puzzles and combat scenarios can be played however you want. If you're fighting an enemy you can use guns, melee weapons, grabbable objects, or even just slam your foes into the wall and beat them to a pulp and in puzzle scenarios there are typically multiple ways to solve or sometimes even skip puzzles (with a few exceptions) and portions of levels if you utilize objects in your surroundings and/or find things to climb over, but in early playthroughs those can have consequences as you can skip over collectable items too such as weapons or sandbox items/npcs to reclaim for the sandbox mode. It really pays off to explore and experiment in every inch of the game.
Aside from the main story missions, there are also modes like sandbox and arena. Arena is pretty self explanatory, gather weapons and ammo in a starting room and select some sort of mode or custom waves to fight against. You can choose preset modes or choose what enemies you want to fight and how many of them there are. Zombies is another arena mode too where you fight against waves of zombies in a warehouse and find weapons and board up windows. There's also Sandbox which is where the game really shines after you've done pretty much everything else. You can test out different weapons you've reclaimed, fight enemies you've gotten, and just do all sorts of wacky stuff and experimenting with what you can and can't do with most objects. Eventually you might get tired of having the same things over and over from the base game though, and that can be fixed with modding. Boneworks has probably hundreds of mods already available with a bunch of different custom player models, gadgets, weapons, vehicles, NPCs, maps, etc. and with everything unlocked it's pretty much like Gmod VR. On top of that there is also a multiplayer mod, which last I checked was a bit janky but there's been a few updates since I last played so could be better now.
With the mods, sandbox, main story, arena modes, and custom maps boneworks is almost infinitely replayable and has so much to do that it's hard to get bored with it. There are still a good few things I haven't touched on or elaborated here that are better experienced in the game rather than told and it's 110% worth it to get boneworks.
Also sorry if some of this is weird I'm bad at writing long things.
