Bluey: The Videogame Review (hypeserver)
Honestly, for $39.99 USD I'm incredibly disappointed. I was excited to finally have a videogame based on something my son loves. My son loves to watch me game, but I haven't been able to get a game that is about something he is interested in. For start, the graphics are pretty bad. The mashup between the typical Bluey animation style and 3D being used on only SOME elements is odd. As you can see from our time playing, we played 0.2 hours. In that time, we finished episode one...of four episodes. The promise of playing games with the Heeler family seemed fun but the minigames are just not fleshed out enough. The lack of in-game settings is highly disappointing too. I planned on streaming the game from my PC to my TV which would require me to adjust the resolution. Not only does the game not support in-game res adjustments, v-sync or other common graphic options, there are no accessibility options. I understand this game is for children that primarily do not read yet, but the decision to omit turning on captioning just seems like a massive miss. UI elements also are not adjustable which leaves some UI elements appearing small and out of focus at certain gameplay resolutions.
