Blossom Tales 2: The Minotaur Prince Review (Fractal Fischer)

I hate to have to leave this review, but the warning needs to be here. The game looks, feels, and sounds so nice with the music being especially good, but the dungeons and bosses are bland and some of the puzzles feel just pure evil, breaking previously established rules or randomly going off the rails into what I'd call romhack difficulty. What really breaks the game for me though is that there's just no answers to be found anywhere if you get stuck. There's no solutions in the guides sections, no gamefaqs, no one reading the forums. If you get stuck, you're done. That's what happened to me. There's a puzzle I just can't figure out, I couldn't find any answers, couldn't get any help, and I'm sick of looking at it, so I'm bailing. Too many other games to play.
Don't get me wrong, this is by no means a bad game, in fact I'm really more just sad I'll never see the rest of it because of this one stupid puzzle. It's not the first time I've gotten stuck for way too long though, and I can only assume it'll inevitably happen again even if I did manage to progress. Exact same thing prevented me from finishing the first game, and right near the end, too. Guess I should have learned me lesson then.
