Blossom Tales 2: The Minotaur Prince Review (BananaBoy)

If you just want a simple Zelda romp, it's fine. But if you're looking to really explore and complete, it's honestly too much padding. Everything is just "too much." And the game is just too small.
Too many letters, too many apples to collect, push the statue way too far, wait too long for the too many rolling spike bars, wait too long for the balloon to pick you up if you play your instrument, too many hits to kill things, too much waiting for fish and too many fish required to brew the potions to see the dead people, too much randomness in fishing, too many potions needed to speed up your movement, falling platforms trails go on too long, too many treasures are just more gold, too many trades with too many ingredients.
The items you get just aren't interesting enough with the padding. The most interesting new tool teleports you and the dungeon's puzzle scheme makes good use of it, but otherwise you're just avoiding lasers and spiky rolly bars.
It's like people said they want more Blossom Tales, but developers heard "we want more pointless wandering back and forth."
