BioShock Infinite: Burial at Sea Review (Wolfgang Versace Mozart)
Burial at Sea Episode 1 is a quite short but awesome DLC for the Bioshock Infinite basic game and you need to play the basic game before to understand the background of the following story.
The story begins on December 31st, 1958. Elizabeth steps into the office of Booker DeWitt who is a private investigator and she asks him to look for the missing girl named "Sally". Booker believes she is dead while Elizabeth has information to prove the contrary. Both are now on their way to find Sally and during your playthorugh you will get in touch with familar characters before the civil war.
The biggest contrast/ difference to the previous Bioshock games is the environment. This DLC takes place in Rapture before the civil war and you get to experience a totally different side of Rapture. The atmosphere is as intense as in Bioshock 1 and I really enjoyed just going around and looking at the details and exploring every corner of Rapture. This game captured the 1960s vibes perfectly with good music and the artistic design of the environment. On your way you will fight mostly enemies of Fontaine and you are collaborating with your teammate Elizabeth again. You are able to use guns and plasmids again, but you are not able to hack turrets this time. You have the chance to upgrade each weapon and plasmid and through audio tapes you learn a lot about Rapture before it turned into a nightmare.
If you liked the basic game before and you want to learn more about the story, you should definitely check it out, but the price is way too high for 5 to 6 hours of gameplay. I do recommend checking it out on sale!
