Battlestar Galactica Deadlock Review (joe_wosika)
Ordinarily, I don’t play turn based strategy games; I prefer real-time strategy personally. But because I love the reimagined Battlestar Galactica series I decided to give this game a chance. And as I started playing this game, I found I actually like it as I played each mission in the campaign. I found each one actually takes me anywhere from 5 to 15 minutes or more, even though the actual time of the ships moving lasts less than a minute. The game contains ships from the first Galactica series as well as ships from the reimagined series. The only real downside I found is that as colonial ships become more advanced through in-game, the distance that colonial ships can travel actually decreases considerably. One advantage that may not show right away is that most colonial ships are big enough to launch fighter wings which have a considerable effect on ships overall, I think anyone who plays this game will be pleasantly surprised I recommend it to anyone who likes the reimagined Battlestar Galactica series.
