Battlestar Galactica Deadlock: Ghost Fleet Offensive Review (Merterbod)
Not bad at all, I dont regret the buy (why negative - second paragraph). You get two new colonial ships: a new support (finally a second one), a stealth ship and 10 missions plus some minor stuff like (much better) leader portraits. Overall, while 12euro for that is not really cheap, it is not as extremely overprized as many other dlc of other games out there.
However, as a single-player, my focus lies on the main story and the missions. And exactly these missions/story feel somehow... very uninspired. There is not really much of variation in it, they are usually very short and simple, something like "kill all enemies", thats it. Missions in season 1 were much more interesting (with a slowly unfolding story) and had some variation (patrol, attacks, defends, rescue) which I miss here more or less completely. Well, only 1/2 of the missions are actually related to the ghost fleet while the others are rather like some random, "fly there and kill that" missions without any real relevance. Even that missions which first appear to be different (rescues, civil aid) end up with the same old "killing all enemies" stuff. Season 1 felt like a story-driven single-player game with multiplayer-option, these dlc rather feels like a multiplayer-game with a optional single-player story.
So, if I would play multiplayer, I would give a thumb up (due to new ships and stuff), as a single-player, focus lies on story and nice written missions which I dont see here. However, if on sale, get it and form your own opinion.
