Battlefield V Review (slwaq)

Let's get it started. Multiplayer review only.
+Incredibly beautiful. The game looks amazing, I'm not sure I've ever seen anything like this in a shooter. The developers' attention to detail has always been at a high level.
+Specializations. The mechanics have been updated and the perks are now immediately available, but the game is still most effective in a squad, which is a plus as it's fun. The classes have been redesigned and are now better and more balanced.
+Minor new mechanics and reworked old mechanics. First aid kits, ammo, supply boxes, the ability to revive a squad member, and rewards for squad points are done very well and fit into the gameplay. The absence of an actual wallhack when spotting, as in BF4, is also a big plus.
+Connection. There is really great modern netcode with high tickrate. Shot hit registration works very well, sometimes there are problems, but rarely. Although the melee registration leaves much to be desired.
+Optimization. Excellent optimization and many settings to achieve individual FPS/Visual results. The FPS limit can be set according to the desired value or according to the frequency of your monitor without V-sync. If you are interested in maximizing FPS, set everything to minimum except the mesh, which should be set to ultra (enemy's visibility). I play this way to get more than 120 fps on 2556x1440.
+Official servers. No more sh!tty rules from stupid admins, no more permanent bans for politely telling the admins why their rules are sh!tty (in BF4 there are no official servers at all). It's amazing that there are no class restrictions, no nukes, no rebalancing and other idiotic things. We can just play the way we like. But at the same time, there are also community servers, which generally just gives you more choice. On the other hand, many maps are simply uninteresting and you have to either sit in afk and wait for the next map or play on a boring map. There are no servers that would remove such maps from the map pool, both official and community. To avoid being kicked during afk while waiting for maps to end, spawn at your team's base, find a sloped surface and press the = button (by default) so that your character will automatically sprint endlessly. Happy tea drinking!
+HUD settings. It's just as customizable as in BF4. Flexible and convenient.
+Discount. At almost all sales you can buy the game -80% and more.
=Squad. Playing in a squad with friends is just as damn fun and highly effective as playing with random people in your squad is boring and unproductive.
+/-Recon class. This has become much more useful. You can now spot enemies in an area with the Flare Gun and when hit. Why isn't this a real plus? The fact is that the Battlefield games have a recon class and no sniper class, which does not give us the opportunity to get the classic sniper experience. Killсam will always shows your position when you kill somebody and your rifle will never kill with a single shot on a body (anti-tank rifles don't count).
+/-Maps. As I said earlier, appearance is amazing. But there are few of them and many of them are unbalanced and boring.
-No USSR at all. The second most important participant in the World War II after Germany is missing.
-Cheaters. The official servers have only one problem - the lack of human moderation and/or a kick voting system. The anti-cheat system does not work here at all, and a couple of years ago EA initiated the free giveaway of an unlimited number of copies of the game through Amazon. As a result, even if the cheaters is banned, they can easily buy a new account on third-party sites for a very small price, or perhaps they have already created a dozen accounts for themselves during that giveaway. This is a huge problem, in about 1/3 of all matches you will encounter a cheater. If you suspect cheating, but you are not sure whether to send a report, I recommend checking the player's nickname on the bfvhackers website.
-Weapon balance. Unfortunately, traditionally for BF everything is very bad. Obviously OP guns with incredible high rate of fire + easy control (M2 Carbine, Type 2A, etc.), shotguns (instant one-shot death), DMR, Sniper DMR (ZH-29, etc.), - immeasurable advantages. The aircraft have been made even more powerful and you will die from them a lot, the situation is much worse than in BF4, because here they mainly attack infantry. Moreover, you can look on YouTube HOW easy it is to kill 5-10 people with one button while playing as a pilot. DICE don't know what balance is and this game is no exception. The biggest cons that makes the game terrible.
-Community. It's disgusting here too. The developers deliberately added imbalanced weapons to retain the casual audience, but the garbage community here plays almost with such weapons only. There is also absolutely no tryhard segment in the community, the most you will see is ZK-383 and Sturmgewehr 1-5 (in the first case, this is simply ridiculous and cannot be called a tryhard, since this is one of the best smg weapon (OP actually) with endless first aid kits; in the second case it is just a well-balanced weapon. Both cannot be considered a tryhard based on the typical definition of the term. Plus these players are too p*ssy and always will run after getting any damage. As experienced shooter-player I have never seen more pathetic "pseudotryharders" in any other game.
-Unlocking. Not only are newcomers forced to compete with more experienced players, but they don’t even have specializations for weapons from the start and they have to unlock them. The stupidest trend and I have no idea why all shooters have this annoying thing.
-No test range. BF4 had a great test range where you could set up settings and adjust your classes. The test range in BF5 is terrible. You can't set up classes and test them, and there aren't enough interactions to fine-tune HUD and other things.
-EA and Origin services. I think this is obvious to everyone that these services work terribly. Be prepared for thousands of problems regarding the inability to join a friend, resetting your game settings and much more. To solve some problems, sometimes you need to restart the game and EA-Origin several times.
-Censorship. EA suppresses free speech all the time but this is truly a new level, I have never seen anything like this. Now the chat has a censor and some of your words will be replaced with "***". FC U EA. You are trash.
-Keys response bug. At critical moments, your keys may simply not work literally up to a minute. You are simply not able to shoot, use or give away a first aid kit and your crosshair becomes a dot. How could this obvious and fatal bug not be fixed 6 years after release?
-Support. DICE and EA don't care about their products and absolutely incompetent through the decades. There is no chance that any of the above will be fixed.
I must admit that this is quite an entertaining product. If you have even one person willing to share multiplayer gameplay with you, I highly recommend giving it a try. BF5 is vastly superior to BF4 in almost every way. But still objectively the game is bad. Terrible balance and community, lots of cheaters - are the main cons that may make the game unplayable for someone. However, playing in a squad can keep you here for a while. A good gaming experience is a consequence of playing cooperatively with friends, and not the merit of the game itself.
Please note that there are more cons I could talk about, but I have to stop now due to Steam review character limitations. So I'll put some more in the comments under.
The "Not Recommended" was given because the game doesn't deserve the 70% positive reviews it has on Steam. I think the % should be <40.
p.s. The review has been significantly updated as I've played over 700 hours and have changed my mind on a few aspects.
I dedicate these GIFs to EA:
