Batman: Arkham Origins Review (Krontrol Frunkle)

I want to love this game but it's so rough to play, I can't speak for others but I knew this game was notoriously buggy, but it got to the point where I just can't enjoy the game due to them. I really like where the story goes even though the open world is pretty bland in comparison to City imo, and I want to continue it- but genuinely for some reason there are sections that you literally need to go through to progress but the collision of certain humps from the floor prevent you from walking through a hallway as if there was an invisible wall, and I'd spend three minutes trying to get through until I was basically just allowed to finally pass for god knows what reason... Happened in the hotel and then the sewers and I just decided to stop playing when trying to get to the morgue after to the aforementioned bug. It was basically the straw that broke the camel's back for me.
The other bugs to note that I was experiencing are enemies that resurrect after completely being knocked out, batman teleporting around while fighting, infinitely doing the starting gliding animation, grapple boost deciding not to work randomly, critical hits seemingly not registering because I actually like playing m+kb, needing to interrogate a person twice because for some reason it wouldn't update anything in regards to progression in a side mission, unresponsive counters, etc...
I don't consider myself an impatient guy when it comes to flaws in games, I especially wanted to replay the Arkham games and achievement hunt all of them (which I did for Asylum and City, haven't gotten around to picking up knight yet), but I remember not finishing origins years ago because I got softlocked and my save corrupted. I wanted to give it another chance since I hear people find it underrated, but the game just frustrates me too much, I also just feel like the combat doesn't feel as smooth either regardless of bugs.
I tried a community patch from nexus mods that supposedly restored cut content and fixed bugs but I couldn't notice any actual improvement and I couldn't find any real documentation that it actually fixes any base game bugs either. I'm not inexperienced with tinkering with files and such either but seemingly whatever I tried to do to actually increase playability just wasn't enough.
It's kinda hard for me to say I don't recommend the game, really. That's once again just an issue with steam only having yes or no. The reality is I find this game not that bad and I don't blame anyone who wants to try it, but it's a play at your own risk kinda deal cus you're spending money to play a broken game. I'm not too sure how much better the console experience exactly is. I've also read that supposedly people don't even experience bugs but Idk that just seems so far-fetched to me.
