Bandle Tale: A League of Legends Story Review (Faeli)
I'm trying to like this game, really I am. I am struggling to push myself to continue often at times. The game will open SEVERAL quests are once, but you can only do them in a certain order because you have to open up badges to progress further through the skill trees to get to the skills needed to complete the other open quests... Add in the 'aura' mechanic and you're constantly picking up your backpack to move (and also need to have it on you to teleport..) back and forth constantly from other regions. I don't know who decided the order of the skill trees, but certainly not someone familiar with these types of games.
The overall vibe is cute, the music is nice, the humor is my brand of humor! ....but it really needs some quality of life/rearranging of quests (or even LOCKING/not even showing the ones you can't do until previous quests are completed). If you end up not unlocking the right skill, be prepared to grind to get enough points for skills. And by grind, I mean do literally ANYTHING and EVERYTHING you can because the game will decrease awarded exp (even go to 0!) if you do the same thing over and over again so be prepared to craft items, plant food, harvest foragables, host food stalls, host parties, and generally do everything short of pulling your in-game character's hair out to try to rectify your mishap.
I'd highly suggest finding a guide just to use as a roadmap for 'what to do next' if you're not a fan of endless grinding. I've had a few friends of mine listen to me on discord as I play and they were on the fence about the game but, after streaming for most the hours I've played, they are not buying it.
