Assetto Corsa: Dream Pack 2 Review (The Monk)
Fantastic pack, for a fantastic price. The new cars are pretty special, initial favs being the GT3 Huracan and SCG003. 64bit seems to have improved my performance on my ageing system, and was able to turn a few things up, so looks better than ever. The new physics and FFb tweaks are a huge improvement on 1.2, and coupled with support for my G29 I get a far more tangible sense of the car and track. it feels a bit grippier, maybe, but that just might be me now I have gotten my wheel set up correctly after a few weeks of tweaking and the improved feel I get from the new build.
Catalunya looks great, and is still a challenge to drive.
When they get TrackIR working again in the 64bit version (hopefully soon, but I can live without until then) this update and DLC has taken teh sim to a newer, better place.
And seriously, it release already 20% off for like $8 local currency, so hell yeah.
