Ark: Fantastic Tames - Pyromane Review (Arcterian)
Pay to win, do not buy
I got this dlc in the belief and hope that it worked as the dlc maps had done in the past and that any map specific dinosaurs could be used by any people including those not owning the map dlcs themselves . Figured it might even been limited to that only owners of the dlc could tame and breed them but again assumed that those not owning would be able to use them if given to them from other players.
This is not the case as it became clear to me when my tribesmates not owning the dlc cannot ride or carry them on their should or use them in any way. Considering how useful the Pyromane is has made it CRYSTAL CLEAR that its a pay to win scam by Wildcard and will be the last dino DLC I will get.
Future new map DLC maps I will have to wait and see on....as thats more like old fashioned game expansions but I will not participate in PAY TO WIN and I would recommend against anyone else from getting into it.
I repeat, is is pay to win and people should stay away from buying this or any future dino only dlc as it will only encourage the greed of this kind of micro transaction to continue and regret I fell for getting this single one to begin with,.
To Wildcard studio I will just say, as long as you limit ANY use of these dinos from those not owning the DLC on official servers you are as bad as any company trying to trick kids into buying microtransaction stuff.
