I'm less than an hour into this so far, so I can't really speak to the quality of the story so far. I've liked the other games in the Science Adventure series, and even loved a couple, so I'm hoping this will live up to those. That said, so far I can tell you this: on a purely technical level, this is the best release in the entire series bar none. I know it's a visual novel so that's effectively meaningless, but when the other games don't let you click a window on a second monitor while letting the text autoplay, it's still relevant. My only real complaint from that perspective is that while controllers are supported, there's no in-game screen telling you the controller bindings.
The other thing I'll say is that the localization seems on-point. They went through the effort of dubbing it (and dubbing it well, I might add), which I imagine was no small feat, so I was hoping there was some real effort put into this release and I'm not disappointed so far. The text under the logo in most Science Adventure VNs is usually completely garbled nonsense English, but here it's actually comprehensible. If you like other VNs in this series this is an easy recommendation.
