Age of Mythology: Extended Edition Review (DraGunZ)
Oh boy this is hard. This is one of my all time favourite old RTS games with many fond memories so its hard to give this update a negative and not for the same reasons as others on here.
It's buggy, and I mean game pausing buggy. I researched this all night and its a big problem with no real solution. Some say its nvidia video cards, others say its antivirus etc etc etc. I have applied all known fixes and the lag and constant pausing is so frustrating its unbelievable how the developer did not know this before release as its very wide spread issue.
On a side note game/graphic wise the developer is kidding themselves with the price, it should $10 all day everyday especially when comparing with Age of Empires 2 and what they did with that was amazing, AOM is just a tiny upgrade and barely noticeable to be fair and not even remotely worth the asking price of $40 when AOE2 is $29 with actual work done on the game and continued support.
In short great game let down by pathetic cash grabbers!!! Hang your heads in shame...
