Age of Darkness: Final Stand Review (Captain Pizza)

DO NOT BUY THIS GAME EVEN ON SALE.
Editing after playing some more. I thought maybe I was being too harsh at the start but turns out I was going easy on them. This is not out of early access, this feels like it's the start of early access. I cannot believe how many issues this game has at the 1.0 launch.
EDIT 2: I keep wanting this game to be good but each time I find 20 bugs/issues. Also fixed a couple issues that I found a solution for.
Short version: Game is super clunky and not smooth to play at all. Many, many, many bugs. Horrible QoL. Campaign = bad. Bait 1.0 release to get money.
Crazy I ran out of space just listing the bugs/issues with this game.
Here we go...
-Chain commands are awful. Units stop at each command for a full second before continuing.
-Chain commands don't show what commands have been chained or the waypoints the units are going to follow.
-If a unit is pathing somewhere there is no indication where they are going (at least show a line going to the final point)
-Cannot invert camera panning (easy to get used to but annoying still)
-No toggle for health bars. Numpad workaround doesn't work well at all (I had a few disappear even when health bars are on so idk what that's about either)
-There is no way (as far as I know) to show the grid which you can build or path on. I can see in vision where I can build (while selecting a building to build) but not in discovered fog of war. There should be a flat mode like They Are Billions.
-CONTEXT HOTKEYS ARE TERRIBLE. When I create an override for a building to press X to sell, it should not get rid of the default context hotkey. Not to mention it shouldn't get rid of other overrides like wtf? I have X to sell building but I want X to be the Hero units ability but that isn't possible. I really don't understand the point of the overrides at all. This is a MUST FIX.
-Dithering in textures. I saw this was brought up 2 years ago and many times after and there has not been a fix or even any solutions. It could be something on my end but no solution has appeared online.
-Minimap notifications shouldn't be a giant sword covering everything on the minimap. Make them an outlined circle or square like TAB.
-Hero units and buildings on minimap need to have color to them.
-Let me zoom in on the minimap. No not make the minimap giant, I want to zoom. This might not be as necessary if the colors were fixed.
-Discovered fog of war should be darker than where you have vision on the minimap.
-Just a lot needs to be more clear on the minimap in terms of terrain and units.
- There needs to be a setting where buildings aren't deselected after building them (like the dwellings if you build one you have to reselect them). Click and drag works but not for every building.
EDIT: MORE ISSUES
-Constant health bar problems with them randomly being invisible.
-Panning with middle mouse very often jumps in a random direction and it's usually at least a screen's distance away.
-Units should stay aggroed longer especially so you can strategically pull.
- Shooting enemies from ranged doesn't aggro them. Units 2 feet from a dying enemy don't aggro. Your units getting shot won't attack back.
-Plenty of pathing issues
-It would be nice to be able to easily select non-hero units when they are grouped with hero units (and the other way around).
-I would also like to easily select units of a certain type from a mixed group. Like clicking one archer then shift+click drag to select only archers. Edit: Selecting some of them, not all of them.
-Selecting units from their portraits in the UI is really bad. Alt-click selects all melee or all ranged it seems. I don't want to group my Lightbearers with my Sentinels. Sometimes it selects a unit but they don't show up in the UI at all.
-Many spots in the campaign aren't buildable where I think they should be. I can't replace a pre-built gate because one tile randomly can't be built on.
-Selling buildings when paused should give a full refund.
-Hitting escape while paused should not unpause the game. It should go directly to the menu. If you click the gear icon while paused to go to the menu, when you return to the game it unpauses.
-Grouping doesn't work well at all. I place farms on 5 then when I press 5 a bunch of Arbalists show up in the UI but the farms are selected. No context buttons are available so it makes it completely useless.
-There needs to be an easy way to select all units/buildings of a certain type (over the entire map). And no, using a separate hotkey for every single unique unit/buildings is not the way. Just let me triple click or shift double click or something.
-Strongest attack priority doesn't make sense. Idk if it's by health or what but I'm not sure why my units would want to attack a passive building or a Sentinel over enemies that actually do damage.
-The campaign is awful. I did not buy this game to play garbage like that. I truly wish I would have skipped it completely (or just not bought the game in the first place).
-Lots of stuttering
-I would like there to be a command to attack the target closest to the cursor. Many units overlap and this makes it much smoother to play
-Tons of clarity issues. Player units look too similar. Terrain and where you can build or path doesn't make sense often.
-When you first build a gate (or other buildings) it's hard to tell where they were placed, especially if you are building a bunch of walls, gates, and towers.
EDIT 2: Even more.
-Enemies spawning in fog of war after Death Nights is horrible. It's quite tedious to constantly cover fog of war early game. If it were improved I might actually like it. Sorry I LITERALLY missed a 1x1 tile that the shader makes it impossible to see. It's not tough to defend from these small groups but just annoying and makes me pause often. Show us what is going to be death fog (like highlight the grids purple or something). Give us a cheaper tower that helps cover fog of war. One that doesn't get rid of horror. This would also make it smoother to just build anything early on. No not archer towers please.
-I can't click and drag to select multiple buildings. Click a wall then shift click and drag to select more is the easiest solution that wouldn't conflict with anything (that I can think of).
-If you select all walls and try to repair (while half are full health) the repair button is grayed out and unable to be repaired. Randomly happens but more often than not.
-The micro in this game is quite tedious. Dodging spitters is just annoying because two shots kill most ranged units. I look away for literally 2 seconds and boom I lose 7 units. Make them deal less damage and give them a mini-map icon. Adding difficulty by making the game tedious is not the way to go.
-Waves take crazy paths that aren't the shortest. I had one go from South-East to North. The middle of the North. And both paths had a minimum 3 tile choke so not sure why it went that way.
-The fish nets are not fun. Sure 'free' gold but really? You want me to pause and pan around to grab some gold so I can min-max? At least have icons on the minimap.
-You can cheese elites because they won't leave their area EVER.
-When you click a wall and sell it, then click another wall too fast it selects all walls (obvious problems there).
-Health bars in the portrait don't update.
-Let me disable workers, too similar to normal units.
-Big groups of units can't find a spot to spot and jitter a lot.
-FPS problems
-Placing buildings is laggy so when click and dragging to place houses it will miss spaces. Same for just shift placing towers.
Congrats you got my money by baiting a 1.0 release but it will be an easy no on your next game.
