A Space for the Unbound Review (olddragon88)

It's a story-driven pixel art adventure game that mix slice-of-life, fantasy & psychology.
Though most tasks are similar to point & click adventure, the game also incorporates some sequence input for fighting mini game, & simple stealth mission.
The strong points of the game lies in the stage design, music, and story.
Stage design looks beautiful especially the town where Indonesians might find them relatable.
Music match with the overall atmosphere of the game albeit short & becomes repetitive when playing the game, though I enjoy to listen to some of them once in a while to relax.
The story was a bit confusing at first for my small brain especially at early stage, but at soon as it got closer to the end, it became much clearer and turns out it was a tear-jerking story about past trauma & personal struggle.
If I were to nitpick, there area few minor flaws.
The save system is a little bit weird. It doesn't exactly load to the moment you save, but instead to the beginning of the area/event/cutscene as if you just enter that area or start that event/cutscene.
And the other thing is there are no wrong choice/action that can impact the ending (i.e. multiple endings), though I understand that may be due to time & budget constraints or simply design choice.
Overall, I can recommend this game especially to those who love story-driven game.
