A Little to the Left: Cupboards & Drawers Review (Brianne333)
I rarely leave reviews on DLC content, because for the most part I feel like my review for the main game covers it. But I felt compelled to leave praise for Cupboards & Drawers. I adore A little to the Left, it's one of my fave games released in recent years, because it caters to a very specific gaming population and it offers a very carefully curated experience for us. That being said, if you play the same puzzles repeatedly in the main game, eventually you will get bored of course at some point. So this DLC was a very welcome surprise, because it offered not only NEW puzzles, but new mechanics in the puzzles in the form of - well, as the title states - cupboards and drawers. It's so simple, but so pleasing. The art continues to be fantastic, the sound design pleasant and unobtrusive. I purchased this DLC the day it was released and consider 5.99 a very good price for the 2+ hours I spent enjoying this content.
The day I got it, I had been experiencing a rather difficult day and was very overstimulated. I needed something to focus on and relax and this was the most perfect answer to that. It was an absolute joy to play. I loved that some puzzles were just "obvious" to me and others I really got stumped on and had to sit and think about (I'm looking very specifically at the pen puzzle!). It was perfection, thank you for another joyful experience Max Inferno!
