A Little to the Left Review (Biiox)

Incredibly satisfying puzzles for the most part.
This review is referring to both the base game and the DLCs, each campaign is around 5 hours long assuming you complete everything (finding all solutions in a level, which is half of the fun).
Full price is a little too high for the amount of content in my opinion.
Most levels can be divided into two types:

Logic puzzles where you need to sort objects by following a certain pattern, often there are multiple ways to sort them in and it's rewarding finding all the solutions.
Less cerebral, more relaxed jigsaw-like levels where you need to organize things by putting them in the right place.

There's a good balance between the two and usually the chill ones act as a nice palate cleanser between the logic puzzles.
Sometimes the game managed to really reach deep and scratch the right part of my brain with how satisfying it was to click and drag stuff into the right place.
But while the good levels are great, not all were made alike and the quality of some isn't on par with the rest of the game and can get tedious instead.

Note for completionists:
TL;DR - Contains missable, time-gated and grindy achievements, also 18 achievements are locked behind paid DLCs.
Since this is a cozy and relaxing game, that's seemingly appealing to completionists I want to talk about some of the baffling decisions they made regarding achievements.

It has achievements for doing things "wrong" such as taking hints and skipping levels but also has some for playing "perfectly" and finishing the campaign without them, which requires you to reset your progress.
Daily Tidy is a new mode they added which is basically a tiny selection of the already existing puzzles except you get a randomize one each day. It has 11 achievements related to it for playing it for various amounts of days, up to the highest being playing for a total of 100 days and one for playing a 30 day streak(!).

I know this is something most developers don't really give much thought to but such as there's good and bad game design, there's good and bad achievement design.
Achievements should not be used (strictly) for analytics nor to inflate players playtime, but instead to highlight fun and interesting ways for the player to interact with your game.
