For those who haven't played since Early Access, did you know we have a new Weapons Skill System?
Here's a rundown of what this means:
Weapon Skill SystemIntroduced a Weapon Skills System to enhance combat progression.
Gain XP for weapon use (eliminating enemies, hunting, etc.).
Weapons are categorized into six types:
Pistols
Submachine Guns
Shotguns
Rifles
DMRs
Snipers
As proficiency increases, preset stats improve automatically.
Perk System Added:
Unlock perks at set XP levels per weapon type.
Example: DMR perk allows reloading while scoped in.
More perks to customize your combat style!
Check the PDA > Weapon Skill System for progress tracking.
Community Competition: #MakeShiftRunFinal 30 Hours to submit entries for the #MakeShiftRun speedrun competition!
Objective: Reach Makeshift Camp as quickly as possible in a new game.
Rules:
No mods allowed.
Submit a uploaded YouTube video of your run.
Post in the Events Channel on the official Discord Server with the hashtag #MakeShiftRun.
Winners:
Top 3 fastest runs will receive exclusive Zero Sievert merch.
Winners will be announced in next week's video.
