Ahead of our first DLC releasing, we wanted to ensure you have the information you need about how the Detective Pass works and what's included.
Q: How does the Detective Pass work?
A: If you purchase the Detective Pass, you will get the four The Rise of the Golden Idol DLC's when they come out at a discounted price to buying them separately.
Q: What is included in the Detective Pass?
A: All four DLC are included, at a discounted price than if you bought them individually. Only the Steam version includes the soundtrack, this is not included on console.
Q: Can I buy the DLC now and the Detective Pass later?
A: If you buy a DLC now, and decide later to get the Detective Pass, the discount will not be applied - you will have paid the full (or sale) price for the DLC, and then the price of the Detective Pass.
Q: What platforms can I buy the Detective Pass on?
A: You can buy the Detective Pass on PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo. The DLCs are included in the iOS and Android on Netflix.
Q: Why can't I buy the Detective Pass on console?
A: The Detective Pass will go live on consoles on the same as The Sins of New Wells releases.
Q: Do I only need the Detective Pass to play the DLC?
A: No, you would need to own The Rise of the Golden Idol base game. The DLC will not work if you only own The Case of the Golden Idol.
Q: What is included in The Sins of New Wells DLC?
A: There are four new cases to explore and solve in The Sins of New Wells DLC.
Q: Will the soundtrack included in the Steam version of the Detective Pass be updated to include DLC tracks?
A: Yes, the intention is to update the soundtrack with DLC tracks!
