Switch update 1.1.3 is live now!
It's a bit unusual to post here on Steam about a Nintendo Switch patch but we want to share the message with as many players as possible!
Since the Switch release, we've been hard at work on investigating and fixing all the outstanding bugs and on improving the game performance and loading times. On Your Tail is a massive game and we're a small team: even if we did a lot of testing, tracking down the bugs and edge cases provided extremely challenging for us and optimizing the game for Switch has been very complex.
It also takes more time for us to patch the game on Switch: we can't just push a patch live as on Steam, there are procedures to follow and it requires more time.
Version 1.1.3 is live now on Switch: this new patch should fix the most outstanding bugs and greatly improved performances across the board. If you've hit a blocker in the game, and we're sorry about that, this patch should let you progress.
We're aware and hard at work on solving two Switch specific bugs that were not addressed in this patch:
- the infinite loading on the arcade
- some occasional characters in t-pose (at least... it's a funny bug!)
We hope to deploy a new Switch patch soon solving those issues. Meanwhile, we hope to deploy version 1.1.3 on Steam next week: aside from bug fixes, it'll bring some nice frame rate improvements on PC!
